Camera screenshot coverage

What the screenshots establish

411 sampled instants from ten selected camera windows, with a full view and a corridor crop for each, plus ten separately timestamped candidate-detail references. The panels follow playback and scrubbing. Between or after camera windows they retain the last sampled frame as “Last known location”; before coverage begins they show the first frame as “Upcoming location.” Both carry a live difference from the timeline clock and the original frame timestamp. The displayed image remains visible while another loads. These contextual camera views are not current sightings. A scene sample does not establish that the attributed subject is visible in every frame. Distant figures, traffic occlusion and other pedestrians limit identification, especially in cameras 3192 and 3188.

The clips were compared visually with the source presentation and contact sheets. References identify candidate pedestrians for review, not independently verified identities or cross-camera handoffs. The blue attribution remains Baker/Armitas’s. Hoodie footage now includes cameras 3173, 0794 and 0795. Camera 3173 shows Washington/South Capitol at nominal 19:54:28.377–19:54:53.377; 0795 covers an alternate New Jersey/D angle at 19:56:55.577–19:57:35.577. Use the viewer’s Camera angle selector when 0794/0795 overlap. Clock agreement and correspondence to complaint times remain unverified; the map’s reported anchors have not been retimed from these camera samples.

Timing and view direction

Times are January 5, 2021 nominal EST: export filename start plus media offset. Camera clocks have not been calibrated. Sampling uses the last frame at or before the clock, for less than one sample interval, within a half-open window [start, end). The 0602 sequence retains its fractional nominal start. A clearer later frame is never moved to a published anchor time. Expand a reference detail or use its jump control to inspect its actual nominal timestamp.

Crops preserve screen orientation. Descriptions such as “right to left” refer to image coordinates; camera compass bearings, surveyed mounts and exact fields of view remain unknown. The crop is neither a new camera angle nor reconstructed facial detail.

Source chain and reproducibility

Images decode hosted video renditions, not the re-encoded review clips. Existing source exports were checked against supplied hashes; newly recovered 3173/0795 renditions have locally recorded SHA-256 hashes and ffprobe metadata in SE camera acquisition records. Those renditions are not proven byte-identical USCP originals. The generated manifest records nominal and media times, source paths and URLs, source and image SHA-256 values, crop rectangles and uncertainties. Extraction inputs retain the selected windows, sampling cadence and reference offsets. Run python3 build_camera_frames.py to rebuild; changed source hashes, offsets or focus crops invalidate cached image pairs. Direct full-source specs and unique view IDs support additional camera windows without requiring a legacy review clip.

Additional gray-hoodie footage

Browse 256 source frames from eighteen scene-review films. All are also selectable directly in the map's hoodie screenshot card. Nine fixed related-scene references provide route context; their display intervals are editorial associations, not new calibrated sightings.
