# Research, reporting and media credits

## Principal research and reporting

**Armitas (@accabbat)** — independent camera/route research, the attributed
northwest/southeast comparison, DNC/RNC compilations, embedded annotations and
annotated prosecution/cell-sector maps used in this project.

**Steve Baker (@SteveBakerUSA)** — reporting and publication of the October 18
CCTV presentation; the longer breakdown with **Kyle Seraphin**; and reporting
jointly bylined with **Joseph M. Hanneman (Joe Hanneman)**.

**Joseph M. Hanneman (Joe Hanneman), Hanneman Reports / Blaze News** —
investigative reporting on the case, including the March 23 comparison jointly
bylined with Steve Baker. That article explicitly discusses Armitas’s research.
His published byline is “Joseph M. Hanneman”; the site also uses “Joe Hanneman.”

Their reporting, research and analysis are credited as their work. Their
interpretations remain attributed, including where this project records an
unresolved identity, timing, route or sector question.

### Newly supplied X sources

The [supplied-media review](analysis/supplied-x-media-review.md) individually
cites eight further Armitas scene films and two reporting-context excerpts.
[The import manifest](analysis/supplied-x-media/manifest.json) preserves actual
post locators from metadata, media IDs, source paths, SHA256s, original-post JSONs
and contribution labels. Armitas receives publication/selection/annotation
credit; underlying footage retains its own publisher/operator provenance.
New maps/training-slide annotations are similarly credited in the photo manifest.
The posted enhanced composite is labelled as processed, not original evidence.
The supplied Baker presentation matches the existing archived presentation
byte-for-byte; its additional metadata was retained without duplicating media.

The March reporting and its linked media are distinct from the later October
presentation and Baker/Seraphin discussion; joint article authorship is not
assigned indiscriminately to every video or stream.

## Screenshots, crops, maps and derived files

- Every frame inherits its source video’s credit, publication URL and media
  offset. The project performs extraction/cropping, contact-sheet construction,
  timeline association and viewer implementation; this does not transfer credit
  for the underlying footage, research or embedded graphics.
- `camera-frames.json` records credits for each nominal-clock view and the
  recovered-film library. `hoodie-review.json` records per-film and per-frame
  credit; the screenshot cards and film players display it.
- Armitas’s dated map posts and original media URLs are indexed in
  [the archived post summary](analysis/x-posts-summary.json) and
  [map asset provenance](production/data/map_assets.json). Credit his annotations
  separately from the prosecution’s underlying diagrams.
- Supplied photo-review files retain their original source paths and hashes in
  [the photo manifest](analysis/photo-review-manifest.json). A verified matching
  post is cited where available. Otherwise the original author/post is marked
  unresolved, rather than assigning authorship from subject matter alone.
- Original FBI, prosecution, photographer, broadcaster and other embedded
  source credits remain in the archived material. No blanket license or
  permission is inferred from these acknowledgments.
